Hey people! Great effort today.
It was the last band practise of the year today! I guess we all enjoyed it, though it's pretty tiring huh? Keep up the good attendance.
School's going to reopen soon, do take great care of yourself. And do practise your instrument, if not look through your scores. Figure out your notes, rhythm etc.
Next band practise is on Monday. Please be in the music room by 6.50AM. It sure is not easy to wake up that early on a monday and come for band practise, but please do make an effort to do so. It will be worth it. Afterall, we reap what we sow.
Last but not least, have a happy new 2009. See you awesome people next year! :)

School is going to start in a few days time, hope you all have finished your holiday homeworks !
Next band practice is on this coming Saturday (27/12/08),
Falling in time is 7.30am, please be punctual [:
Attire that day for senior is band tee with pe short and for sec1s is pe-attire.
NYPSO ( Nanyang Polytechnic Symphony Orchestra )
is having a concert on 18 Jan, Sunday, 7.30pm.
Tickets are selling at $12, $18 and $25.
They will be playing Inn Of 6th Happiness and Gloriosa.

Catch 13 institutions in one night! Experience exciting wind music with the Junior College & Polytechnic Band Festival 2008!
In this Band Festival, band members from various junior colleges, polytechnics and pre-university institutions come together and form festival bands which perform under the batons of local and international guest conductors Dr Eric Hammer, Mr Leonard Tan & CPT Muhamad Yusri.
This eight edition of the festival brings you a diverse repertoire from three bands, one of which is the Honour Band led by internationally renowned conductor, Dr Eric Hammer from USA. Hand-picked via audition, members of the Honour Band will present spectacular music from different cultures and genres. Dr. Hammer is currently the Director of Bands at University of Pacific.
