TWO more days to performances at the esplanade!
In fact you don't even have 48 hours.

It had been fun learning about the inversion of the chords that Mr Lim had taught today. Although it's kinda hard to understand for some of us but if we managed to learn it fast, the faster our band will improve. The difference between a good and a not so good band is how fast they absorb from the conductor. Bringing yourself to a higher level of playing. It is best to clarify yourself if you have any doubts. You can only learn if you ask.

In fact this can be apply to the INTONATION. How fast you can achieve can determine how good is your playing. So people let's do our best and practice harder with your tuner. Don't take things for granted. As i realized that today, people bringing instrument home had greatly decreased.

Remember we are the GOLD band for that 15 minutes of performance only. The moment we step out of the stage, we are no longer the band we are we were on the stage. Thus, don't hold on to the title of that moment. Let's learn from this experience and make the next performance a better one. Let's be a responsible player alright?!

ESPLANADE HERE WE COME!!!

Remember the 4 factors?

* WE SHOULD

* WE MUST

* WE CAN

* WE WILL!

Go go go RWS! :)

With Pride We Soar, With Glory We Fly.
To nurture students musically, to provide them with a strong foundation in the study of music. To train students to be leaders. The band was formed in the year 2001, thus, making the Regent band one of the youngest in the region of Choa Chu Kang, Yew Tee. Mr. Lim Yean Hwee was appointed in 2002 as Music Director to the Regent Wind Symphony, and has lead the band into our first SYF in 2003, which we managed to clinch a Silver award. Following up in 2005, we yet to bag another Silver award through our hard work. Last year, in 2007, our band managed to get a Silver award. { }
